UMass develops an inexpensive, synthetic bone called FlexBone to aid in tissue grafting

University of Massachusetts Medical School has developed a new type of tissue and bone scaffolding polymer – biodegradable safely reabsorbed by the body as it breaks down over time, heat activated, malleable, with nanoparticle core and shape memory features.
