Medtronic trims 2011 view, to cut up to 2,000 jobs (Reuters)
Medtronic Inc cut its full-year earnings forecast, hampered by weakness in key medical device markets, and said it would eliminate up to 2,000 jobs. Medtronic said it would take a one-time charge in the fourth quarter for the job cuts that could total up to 5 percent of its workforce.
