Stryker cuts 142 jobs in Ireland as a result of combining plants

A setback for Medical Device Jobs in Ireland (Pharceutical Jobs)
US medical device and orthopedic implant maker Stryker has decided to cut 142 jobs in Ireland.
The company has chosen to consolidate its medical instruments and orthopaedic plants which are located at the IDA Industrial Estate at Carrigtwohill into one plant as part of a restructuring programme, reported irishtimes.com.
