He’s been promoted from the role of President and Chief Operating Officer, a post he’s held since joining Integra from Baxter Healthcare in November of 2010. Current CEO Stuart Essig has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Board. The leadership transition is effective as of January 3, 2012.

A new position was also created for Mr. Arduini on Integra’s Board. Current Chairman of the Board Richard Caruso, a founder of Integra LifeSciences and its Chairman since its inception, will remain as a director of the company.
