TransCorp Spine, a minimally-invasive, spinal-device company received the 2012 Spine Tech Award for their SpinePort MIS Access System in the cervical spine category.  This annual award presented by Orthopedics This Week and RRY Publications is awarded to honor the best products, engineers and inventors in spine surgery.

The SpinePort System is a newly-patented and commercialized surgical instrumentation set designed to assist spine surgeons in performing a TransCorporeal MicroDecompression procedure in the cervical spine.  The System consists of disposable and reusable instruments including a patented channel drill guide, autograft harvesting channel drills and microdiscectomy probes and dissectors.
