The fifth annual Spine Technology Awards are being presented byOrthopedics This Week and RRY Publications LLC at the North American Spine Society (NASS) annual meeting this week in New Orleans. The Kiva VCF Treatment System provides a new approach to the treatment of painful vertebral compression fractures (VCFs) due to osteoporosis. Kiva includes a proprietary flexible implant made from PEEK-OPTIMA®, a biocompatible polymer that is widely used and well accepted as a spinal implant.
