Ortho industry pros… Can you help this surgeon-inventor find the right partnership?
The surgeon inventor is Dr. Parth Desai and he is an orthopaedic surgery resident based out of New Orleans, and founder of the Implant Identifier app. The inventoin is a machine-learning based mobile app which allows for instant identification of any orthopaedic implant, based only on an x-ray image. The beta version of the app currently has over 11,000 surgeons and device reps.
Given the positive results of the beta, Parth is considering partnership to help his team expand the platform to include additional machine-learning and augmented-reality based tools for pre-op planning, templating, and more.
