This is a PSA for the many many people in orthopedics out of work or looking for a better role. Problem Too many people write on their resume or LinkedIn profile:
"I am passionate about innovation in Healthcare Technology" "Passionate About Improving Patients' Lives" "Competitive and driven young professional, passionate about sales." "I am passionate about helping patients."
This is terrific, but it's useless. We are all "passionate". This says NOTHING about what you can accomplish for a new employer. Solution Instead, it would be more useful to write that catches a hiring managers eyes, such as:
"I can design and launch new products in just 12 months!" - Show them you're not just talking; you're doing. "My marketing campaigns boosted ROI by 35% in sales!" - Numbers talk. Prove your worth with hard data. "I doubled sales in my territory last year." - Real results make you a real candidate....
