The San Diego-based company aims to reduce the incidence of complications resulting from lumbar spinal surgery, such as nerve damage or degeneration of adjacent discs. Trinity’s products are already used in a number of medical centers in the U.S. The company recently introduced its first product system to the U.S. market, and plans to submit a second product system to the FDA in mid-2010.
