It's time to think about solving orthopedics shortcomings in a completely different way. Enter Redefine Surgery - https://www.redefinesurgery.com/ Redefine Surgery is not chasing another implant or a bigger robot. Founded in 2023 in Hoboken and Edison, New Jersey, the company is building what it calls the operating system for surgery’s next era: trackerless computer-vision navigation now, and an AI mentor trained on master surgeons next. The real bottleneck in orthopedics is not metal. It is expertise that still does not scale. The Problem: Expertise Doesn’t Scale The best arthroplasty and sports-medicine surgeons carry decades of timing, sequencing, and tactile judgment. That knowledge still travels one-to-one. A fellowship mentor can only stand at so many tables. Everyone else learns from a few cases, a cadaver lab, and hope. Two downstream problems follow:
