Your customer is not shopping for titanium, polyethylene or another console that looks impressive. They are shopping for a faster Tuesday. If you still think you are in the implant business, you are already late. The only currency that matters inside a hospital or ASC is throughput: how fast a patient can move safely through the OR, and how fast that room can turn for the next one. That is the question that should sit on top of every strategy deck: Does this make Tuesday faster or slower? Most ortho companies still fail that test.
