The $11B Spine Market Is Not a Commodity. The Average Is.

ORTHOWORLD correctly estimated the worldwide spine market at $11.1 billion in 2025, up 3.3% from $10.8 billion the year before. The United States accounted for $7.9 billion, up 3.4%. Those numbers are real. The story people hang on them is not.

The 3% Trap “Slow-growth commodity” is what you get when you blend Medtronic’s mid-single-digit machine with every me-too screw and cage still fighting over the same posterior lumbar case.
