Centinel to take the Disc Motion bet public

This is a big one for our industry. Centinel Spine will be testing the public markets soon. Below I will share everything you need to know about the S-1, just for you. Centinel sold the cages to Silony in 2023, kept prodisc, and is now the only U.S. franchise with one- and two-level PMA in both cervical and lumbar. H1 revenue $85.2 million, up 42%, gross margin about 82%. The IPO is a wager that surgeons keep converting fusions, not that Centinel invents a new category. 2/ The Viscogliosi round trip Spine Solutions sold prodisc to Synthes for $350 million in 2003. Viscogliosi Brothers bought the worldwide assets back through Centinel in 2017. John Viscogliosi ran it until 2020, handed the seat to Steve Murray, and the same disc is now heading to the NYSE as CNTL. Thirty-plus years, 300,000 implants, one asset, three owners.
