Orthopedic-device maker Wright Medical Group Inc. (WMGI) recently received a subpoena from a U.S. Attorney's office seeking documents related to the company's Profemur series of hip-replacement devices.
The company got the subpoena Friday from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Tennessee, Wright disclosed in a regulatory filing Tuesday. The subpoena requests "records and documentation" on Profemur products and covers a period between Jan. 1, 2000, and Aug. 2, 2012.
