High Level Summary Researchers have unveiled Bone-02, a bioabsorbable adhesive that bonds fractures in 2–3 minutes via injection, potentially transforming orthopedics by eliminating metal implants, reducing surgery times, infections, and secondary procedures. Tiger's Take: Bone biology is really really hard to figure out (I learned this when I lead Biologics R&D back at Wright). I am super-skeptical about this new bone healing technology - not because it is coming from China, but because its been tried so many times and failed. Remember Norian SRS from Synthes in the 1990's ? Remember DARPA's Fracture Putty program in 2008 hailed as "the ultimate convergence of materials science, mechanics, and orthopedics."?
